We bake the good stuff, so you don’t have to!

Having Hobo Baked handle catering on the morning of my wedding was the easiest and best decision we made! With something for everyone to have as their favorite, even the picky eaters were wanting more! They used sprinkles in my wedding colors, and even shaped them into hearts! The Hobo Baked ladies went above and beyond to make my day absolutely perfect in every way. We can’t wait to order again, this time, as husband and wife!

Our Story & Who We Are

Why we became Hobo Baked, as told by Aubrey Howlett ~ Mom AKA Owner, Baker, Minion Boss, & her personal favorite, Grama
After Covid and working for Corporate America for the very last time, I started baking. As a Mom of 5 kids, and Grama to 2 grandbabies, baking has always been a necessity and a beneficial form of much needed stress relief. Having full grown kids (aka Minions), and adopted nieces that needed something other than trouble to get into, I started Hobo Baked. Truthfully, it all started trying to make a scone that tasted as good as it looked! That was all it took for all the Hobo Crew, Minions included to form up, and catch the baking bug. Something that yummy needed to be shared, and sold to the world! Well, maybe just Northern Idaho for now. We started baking and creating, enjoying hanging out together in the kitchen. It was of course the kitchen where the magic happened, as it has since the dawn of time, and still continues every week. We are constantly coming up with new amazing flavors, great combinations, and ending up with delectable, one of a kind treats. We also added a few tried and true treats from our family recipe book to join the Hobo Scone lineup in the Bakery. This includes our No Bake Cookies. The same ones that my parents made before they made me! The Lemon Bars were a last minute add on, due to them being by far the most requested treat I ever made prior to Hobo Baked. Boy are we glad we decided to add all of these treats to our menu! Each treat is different, whether you try a Hobo Scone, a No Bake, or a Lemon Bar, they are each made with love and a desire to make anyone that eats it smile. The happy kid smile, you know, the smile you got as a kid when Grama used to let you pick anything you wanted from the cookie jar. That's the one! We strive for each customer to have that smile and feel that loved with every bite of our treat. Feel the Love from Hobo Baked, it's there! Where does our name "Hobo Baked" come from? All 5 of Aubrey's Kids have the same biological father, and 2 have different biological mothers, as well as different last names. HOBO is an abbreviation and combination of the 2 last names of which our family is comprised.
